American Association of Homes and Services for the Aging
The members of the American Association of Homes and Services for the Aging serve two million people every day through mission-driven, not-for-profit organizations dedicated to providing the services people need, when they need them, in the place they call home. AAHSA members offer the continuum of aging services: adult day services, home health, community services, senior housing, assisted living residences, continuing care retirement communities, and nursing homes.
American Health Care Association
The American Health Care Association is a nonprofit federation of affiliated state health organizations, together representing more than 10,000 nonprofit and for-profit assisted living, nursing facility, developmentally-disabled, and subacute care providers that care for more than 1.5 million elderly and disabled individuals nationally.
BenefitsCheckUp is the National Council on Aging’s online service to screen for federal, state and some local private and public benefits for older adults. It contains over 1,350 different programs from all 50 states. In addition to identifying the programs that a person may be eligible to receive, BenefitsCheckUp provides a detailed description of the programs, local contacts for additional information, and materials to help successfully apply for each program.

National Institute on Aging
NIA, one of the 25 institutes and centers of the National Institutes of Health, leads a broad scientific effort to understand the nature of aging and to extend the healthy, active years of life. In 1974, Congress granted authority to form the National Institute on Aging to provide leadership in aging research, training, health information dissemination, and other programs relevant to aging and older people.

This is a not-for-profit, membership organization comprised of healthcare industry leaders from five states, whose mission is to advance health policy dialogue in the Upper Midwest. The NIHP provides a neutral forum for regional healthcare institutions to work collaboratively to shape healthcare both locally and nationally.
